hey there. i'm an eighteen year old female from australia. i was born and raised here, but i'm of an indian cultural background. i absolutely adore india; i think it's beautiful and so different than everything i am exposed to here. the smells and the perennial hubbub on the streets are what i love most. music is something that is ineffably important to me. it's one of the few things that i know will always be here to hold my hand and help me along. i feel most alive when i am sandwiched in between sweaty bodies in a mosh pit, singing my lungs out to live music. the feeling that gives me has been unparalleled thus far. i also hold so much love and respect for andrew mcmahon, i think he is an inspiration. i deeply value and am attracted to intelligence. i find it incredibly sexy and believe it is a very powerful and important tool. reading. i love books. harry potter and the whole world that was created with it was and will always remain my first love. i want to travel. everywhere. i want to experience everything. i despise being told what to do. i do what i like, because i believe that's the only way you can stay truly happy. i'm extremely honest and won't sugarcoat things because i perceive that to be utterly pointless. and i think i'm hilarious.

Just got back from seeing Relient K and Jack’s Mannequin. They were opening for Dashboard Confessional, which I didn’t stick around to see (I was only there for Jack’s). Yeah, just, no words. There is something so indescribably special about Andrew and what he does on stage. I love the band so much and the feeling I get from seeing them live is so wonderful. There were literally times during their set where I just fell completely silent because what they were doing on stage was so mesmerising and incredible, like during this one part in Kill The Messenger. This really lovely tall guy standing next to me also offered to record parts of the set because I am a little vertically challenged and was clearly struggling a little. It was just all round an amazing night, and I am so thankful I got to see one of my most loved and admired artists in concert once again. There is nothing like it.
